Kent shepherdess to attempt to set world shearing record

Trefranck Farm, Cornwall--The National Sheep Association (NSA) will be backing Kent shepherdess Marie Prebble as she attempts to set a world record shearing attempt in a few weeks' time. Prebble, an NSA Next Generation ambassador and member of the NSA South East Region committee, will be attempting to set the first women's eight-hour, strongwool ewe shearing world record on Thursday, August 25 at Trefranck Farm, Cornwall. 2023: Dubai to Build World's Largest Airport
The leader of Dubai has approved spending $32 billion to expand the city’s second airport in the hopes it will become the world’s biggest. Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central is set to eventually serve 200 million passengers a year, outdoing Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. That hub is the busiest, serving 94.4 million passengers last year. Once completed in an estimated six to eight years, the expansion will allow for five parallel runways to be used simultaneously and for 100 double-decker Airbus A380 jets to land at any time.
