"Little Legs Foundation broke the Guinness World record for most people playing monopoly in a single venue on Sunday with 918 participants, overriding their first attempt of just over 700 participants. The record beats Tulsa Oklahoma’s attempt of 733 participants in a single venue," the Greek City Times reports.

"The Little Legs Foundation was started in 2018 by Sue-Ellan Vasiliou and her husband Marino Vasiliou in honour of her daughter, Alegra, who passed away from brain cancer at the age of six, ten months from diagnosis. The foundation, endearingly named after Alegra’s nickname, “Legs”, funds research for childhood related brain cancer, with $2.83 million in research to date through the ‘Alegra’s Army Grant’.

"The monopoly game that broke the world record on Sunday was created in Alegra’s honour, an officially licensed Hasbro game named “Alegra’s Army Edition”. Sue-Ellan tells me the Shopkins version of monopoly was Alegra’s favourite game to play."

WRA's Editor note: The Little Legs Foundation's official website is missing a very important section: the "Annual financial report" where donors can see where the donors money went (it looks like they are spending too much for expenses and less on actual programs, in our opinion. "Cancer research" is also a little vague area, Cancer research has, unfortunately, often been just a cover for collecting funds that were not properly used (see more here, here, the Federal Trade Commission article,
