World’s Largest Beer Float, world record attempt in Garland, Texas

Andy's Frozen Custard and
Lakewood Brewing are collaborating to pile 50 scoops of custard into 50 pints of Lakewood's sexy delicious milk stout, Temptress and build the
World’s Largest Beer Float, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.
"Andy's Frozen Custard and
Lakewood Brewing are collaborating to break a world record. On Saturday, June 29, Andy's will head to the brewery in Garland to pile 50 scoops of custard into 50 pints of Lakewood's sexy delicious milk stout, Temptress," the
Dallas Observer says.
The existing record was set in February 2024 in Ohio with 20 pints of Third Eye Brewing's Higher Purpose Milk Stout and 36 scoops of Graeter's Vanilla Ice Cream.
"Lakewood's record may be fleeting, but if you go, go hungry because they're sharing. Guests 21 years of age and up will help polish off this keg of beer float."
"Lakewood Brewing Co and Andy’s Frozen Custard® will collaborate together to build the world’s largest beer float at Lakewood Brewing on Saturday, June 29 at 1 p.m. using 50 scoops of Andy’s World Famous Frozen Custard, the best frozen treat in the entire world, and 50 pints – a full keg – of Lakewood’s Temptress, the number one selling craft milk stout in Texas," the Lakewood Brewing Co. says.
"The previous world record was set in February in Ohio using about 20 pints (9 liters). Lakewood Brewing will offer Root Beer Floats and Temptress Floats for sale in the Taproom and of course have The Temptress and a few other Temptress varietals on Tap!"
