"The expansion aims to double production and to lead to the hiring of 850+ new employees by 2026; 250 additional employees have already been hired so far this year.
"South Korea-based CS Wind invested in the Pueblo site after purchasing it from Denmark-based Vestas in August 2021. CS Wind runs manufacturing sites in the United States, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Turkey and Portugal."

"CS Wind is based in South Korea. The wind power plant in Pueblo is its largest plant and wind turbine tower supplier in the world," the KOAA NEWS5 Colorado reports.

"Nobody in the world can compete," said the had of CS Wind of America James Won. Won said the expansion will create more than 850 jobs. CS Wind officials said the expansion will generate three times more wind energy for Colorado.
"CS Wind officials said they chose to partner with Pueblo because of easy access to raw steel.
"[The raw steel is] coming from United States, sometimes from Illinois or Wisconsin, we usually have several of these partners," said Won."
"CS Wind, a South Korean company with operations around the globe, plans to add 850 new jobs in Pueblo by the time the expansion is finished. The entire facility will be 1.58 million square feet, the Yahoo News reports.
"Pueblo’s connectivity to the American rail system helps the company transport the towers to their final destinations, Won said. Many of the turbines are shipped to the Midwest.
"The towers for wind turbines are crafted in segments from American steel. Only towers are constructed at the Pueblo facility, said Anthony Salerno, a production manager. The turbine blades and generators are crafted at other locations. Turbine towers are built in Pueblo, but wind energy is not actively produced by CS Wind."
"CS WIND, headquartered in Korea and the global No. 1 wind turbine tower manufacturer, established its first production facility in Vietnam, 2003. As of 2021, CS WIND has been operating production facilities in 8 countries on 3 continents," the official website says.
"Over the past decades, CS WIND has provided more than 13,000 towers for major global projects and is now supplying wind towers to major customers in the industry such as Vestas, Siemens-Gamesa, GE, Goldwind, etc. In the field of wind tower manufacturing, CS WIND has world-leading production system, quality control system and welding technology that have led CS WIND to become the World's No.1 wind tower manufacturer."
"Located on a 3 million square foot site, CS Wind America is the world’s largest tower production facility. As all the global customers are in the USA, it plays a significant role in promoting the growth of CS Wind by maximizing the US market share through leveraging price and quality competitiveness."
