"You may be indoors, but it will feel like the sky’s the limit at the It Adventure Ropes Course inside Jordan’s Furniture, the largest indoor ropes course in the world," the Visit Connecticut says.
"The zip rails in the course soar up to 56 feet and take you over a liquid fireworks water show. Other challenges (there are over 100!) on the four-level course include a double catwalk, crisscross angled rope ladders, zig-zag swinging beams, cargo nets and bridges, all experienced while you are secured in a full-body harness and sling line.
"For those kids under 48 inches tall, there’s the Little It course, positioned close to the ground with platforms less than three feet high and adults close by to lend a hand if needed."
"A quick walk through the store's showroom will bring you face to face with a 45-foot-high water show. Accentuated by changing colors and vibrant music, this is just the beginning of the wow factor," the Mommy Poppins reports.
"Above and around stretches a labyrinth of 60-foot-high ropes with four levels; four 180-foot-long zip lines whiz adventurers over the light and water show.
"After a quick check-in at the ticket counter, followed by a brief stop in the equipment area where an attendant will harness you, you're ready to climb to new heights. Zigzag swinging beams, cargo nets, suspension bridges, rope ladders, and plank-walking are just some of the attractions."
"If you're looking for a fun, one-of-a-kind, and exhilarating indoor adventure to explore this winter, look no further than the world's largest indoor ropes course, conveniently located right here in Connecticut," the News Break reports.
"Described as "not just a store, an experience" Jordan's boasts a variety of different attractions within their stores that includes an I-MAX theater, enchanted, village, giant slide ride, and an impressive indoor ropes course found only in their New Haven, Connecticut location.
"If you're looking to really get your adrenaline pumping, Jordan's also offers a brand new free fall stimulation where you'll step off of a platform from the top of the ropes course. You'll free-fall for approximately five feet and then gently descend to the ground."
"The kids had a blast. 1 hour was enough for my children as they tire easily with noise and crowds. We paid extra for the free fall as the end which they loved. It was during a school break week and very crowded which would be my only critique. Otherwise was a great experience and would return, just would try to go during a less peak time. There are vending machines and tables with chairs for parents to sit."
"The place is huge. But what’s great about it is that the ropes course is made up of many levels, so the kids could stay as long as they wanted on the lower ones until they felt comfortable moving higher."
"My husband and I had a blast. We went before noon and only had to share the course with two other people. There are lots of levels and lots of choices on which obstacles you’d like to complete to get around. Multiple zip lines as well."
"My ganddaughter is nine years old and she had a great time with the ropes course and zip lines. Talked about how much fun she had all the way home! We spent almost two hours on a Saturday, with no wait to get tickets or to get belted/tethered up. On the course there were very few waits, as well. She really enjoyed the different zip lines you could take, especially the one that went over the water fountain and could get your feet wet from the jets. We enjoyed the pizza, especially the choose your own ingredients part. Overall, the staff were all great and we are already planning to go back, so she can try the rock wall climbing."
"Huge ropes coarse, great time for the kids never see them and have to fight to leave every time even after two hours of them playing."
