Las Vegas, Nevada, United States--A feature of the Jean Philippe Patisserie at the Bellagio hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a giant chocolate fountain, a massive glass structure where pools of white, medium, and dark chocolate drip down, artistically spilling in a waterfall; it rises 27 vertical feet from lower level pump room and 6 ceiling spouts disburse chocolate 14 feet above floor level, thus setting the world record for being the World's Largest Chocolate Fountain, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.
"What makes this site most unique is that, unlike most world’s largest anythings, it isn’t found on the side of the road, in some podunk town, in some ramshackle room. The world’s biggest chocolate fountain is housed inside one of the ritziest hotels on the strip: The Bellagio," the Silly America reports.
"Tucked inside Jean Philippe Patisserie is the biggest chocolate fountain in the world, a massive glass structure where pools of white, medium, and dark chocolate drip down, artistically spilling in a waterfall. According its informational sign, six pumps work to circulate nearly two tons of 120o F chocolate in a 95o temperature controlled enclosure into 25 hand-crafted artistic glass vessels.
"The chocolate rises 27 vertical feet from lower level pump room and 6 ceiling spouts disburse chocolate 14 feet above floor level. And the whole thing took 2 years of engineering, planning, and design. And, I must say, is one of the most beautiful and tasty-looking sites I have found..."
"The chocolate cycles at a rate of 120 quarts per minute. The World's Tallest Chocolate Fountain was created for the Jean Philippe Patisserie, and took two years of engineering, planning and design, according to the sign," the Roadside America reports.
"It's behind glass, and often crowded, but you can stand and gaze at the World's Tallest Chocolate Fountain as long as you want. Guinness World Records has certified this marvel -- 26-ft. 3-in. tall from ceiling down to the pump room, with continuous running white, medium and dark "confectionery grade" chocolate pouring from a series of dishes."
"In fact, there are three fountains in total: One for dark chocolate, one for white chocolate and one for mocha chocolate. You will become totally captivated by the chocolate flowing from one lever to another. Unfortunately, there is no way you can dip your finger in to have a taste of the tantalizing liquid," the Vegas Attractions reports.
"One fact about Las Vegas is that you should always expect to see an awe-inspiring sight every few meters. The Bellagio chocolate fountain display is certainly one of them.
"The glass-encased triple chocolate fountain is quite a spectacle. In fact this is definitely a piece of kinetic art. – A sculpture made out of glass and chocolate :)"

"As you enter the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, just walk by the front desk, pass through to the gardens, and you’ll come across Bellagio Patisserie shop. Beautiful and unique Chocolate Fountain is here only, next to the entrance. Three different colors of chocolate flow from ceiling to floor through several suspended glass vessel, where they recollect and flow into hidden tanks and the journey begins once again. The fountain is enclosed in protective glass panels that form a funnel shape as they rise towards the ceiling. The Bellagio Chocolate Fountain is certified by Guinness World Records as the largest chocolate fountain in the world. It is 27 feet tall and has over 500 feet of stainless steel piping. Six pumps circulate 2 tons of chocolate at a rate of 120 quarts per minute."
"This very large chocolate fountain is something to see in Las Vegas. Since we were at the Conservatory, we decided to check this out as well. My only disappointment was they didn’t sell small boxes of chocolates there. I would have gotten one. They had cookies & other goodies but I didn’t see any chocolates."
"The fountain mesmerizing; must stop to see it. The kids will remember years later. My requested going here after 10plus years ... desserts were prefect - Yum (red raspberries custard, lemon custard)."
"It took 2 years to design and construct this fountain. The sign on the wall explains everything. It's definitely a photo opportunity type of attraction."
"Located next to the Bellagio Patisserie. It was very pleasant just to see all that chocolate flowing by. It’s very well maintained and surprisingly clean. Worthy quick stop!"
