Orlando, Florida, United States--About 1,254 Orlando Solar Bears fans wearing Aloha shirts attended a recent game against the Atlanta Gladiators, setting the new World Record for the Largest gathering of people wearing aloha shirts, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.

"The Orlando Solar Bears have officially broken the Guinness World Record for the “largest gathering of people wearing aloha shirts”. A significant 1,254 spirited participants wore their favorite Hawaiian-style shirts transformed the Kia Center into an arena of vibrant colors, according to a press release," the clickorlando.com says.

"To qualify for the Guinness World Records attempt, participants had to follow specific criteria, ensuring that their Aloha shirts were short-sleeved, buttoned from top to bottom, and comprised of at least three colors and a pattern."

"The attempt took place before "Beach Night" at the Solar Bears game, which included players in Hawaiian-inspired hockey jerseys along with referees dressed as lifeguards."
