Orlando, Florida, United States--Sky Elements, a company specializing in drone light shows, used 1,600 drones to create an image of the American flag and its own company logo at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions expo in Orlando, setting the world record for the Largest aerial image of a flag formed by drones, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.

"Sky Elements, a drone company specializing in light shows, used 1,592 individual drones to create the sky-high image of an American flag, as well as its company logo – breaking the world record for the largest aerial image of a flag and the largest aerial logo formed by drones," the IOT World Today reports.


"The show took place at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions expo in Orlando. The two record-breaking displays came at the end of three nights of smaller, 400-drone shows, where the drones were programmed to create displays of “heroic figures throughout history.”


"The previous record for both the largest aerial image of a flag and the largest aerial image of a logo was set in March this year as part of the Dubai World Cup closing ceremony. The former was achieved with 988 drones, while the latter was set using 1,500 drones."

"The largest aerial image of a flag formed by multirotors/drones is 1,592, and was achieved by Sky Elements Drone Shows (USA) in Orlando, Florida, USA, on 15 November 2023," the Guinness World Records says.

"The attempt took place at the 2023 IAAPA Expo."

"Sky Elements, a company specializing in drone light shows, broke the world records for the largest aerial image of a flag formed by drones and the largest aerial logo formed by drones at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions expo in Orlando," the UPI reports.


"The company used 1,600 drones to create an image of the American flag and its own company logo.

"The previous record for the largest aerial image of a flag was set by 998 drones in Dubai in March of this year, and the previous record for an aerial logo was set at the same event by 1,500 drones."

"Using a whopping 1,600 drones, Sky Elements crafted a colossal image of the American flag along with its own company logo. This achievement surpassed the previous record for the largest aerial image of a flag, which was set by 998 drones in Dubai earlier in the year."
