World's Largest Charcuterie Board, world record in Palm Beach, Florida

Palm Beach, Florida, United States--Boarderie and their sponsors – Columbus Craft Meats, Yupik, Celebrity Goat, Divina, The Palm Beaches, The Vineyard House, Rustic Bakery, Dufeck Wood Products, and Atlas Event Rental – hosted an event to unveil a giant charcuterie board that measured 20 feet by 14 feet, weighed 769 pounds, which set the world record for the World's Largest Charcuterie Board, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.

"The longest charcuterie platter/board is 148 m (485 ft 7 in), and was achieved by Sheila’s Catering Co (Canada) in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada, on 2 September 2023," the Guinness World Records says.

"The charcuterie board included more than 100 kg of cheese, more than 100 kg of meat, 20 kg of grapes, 7 kg of herbs, 100 litres of spreads, 11 kg of figs, 9 kg of apricots, and more than 1700 edible flowers. The proceeds from the event went to a local food bank in the area."

"A cheesy Florida delivery service smashed the Guinness World Record on Wednesday with an artisanal spread weighing in at 769 pounds, beating the previously set record of 441 pounds," the New York Post says.

"Boarderie, located in West Palm Beach, assembled the board of gourmet cheeses, crackers, nuts, dried fruit and meats with the help of sponsors such as Columbus Craft Meats.

"The record-breaking spread, measuring 20-feet-by-14-feet, was a replica 169 times larger than Boarderie’s fan-favorite Arte board."

"Boarderie, a cheese and charcuterie board assembly and shipping company based in West Palm Beach, set out to break the previously established world record on Oct. 4, and built a 769-pound charcuterie board at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach," the FOX 11 Los Angeles says.

"The record-breaking charcuterie board, which measured 20 by 14 feet, was assembled by 40 Boarderie staff members, according to Aaron Menitoff, co-founder and co-CEO of Boarderie. It reportedly took Boarderie staff two hours to wire-cut 13 artisanal cheeses and five cured meats.

"The cheese and meats were also paired with flatbread crackers, nuts, olives, dried fruits, chocolates and a variety of spreads. Measuring and organizing the ingredients reportedly took four hours, while the assembly took one hour. A total of 1,024 individual charcuterie trays were assembled. They were then arranged into a single board."
