"This stainless steel sculpture was commissioned by The Homeowners Association of the Towns of Little Italy in Ohama. After a design competition was held to find the perfect piece to represent one of the oldest communities in the city, artist Jake Balcom was selected with the task. "The piece’s name, “Stile di Famiglia” or “Family Style,” was selected to reference a type of restaurant service where instead of plated meals, all the food comes out on big platters or bowls, meant to be shared much like a family dinner at home. In both name and form, this Omaha roadside attraction respects the city’s Italian heritage, local restaurants (it’s just down the block from Orsi’s Italian Bakery & Pizzeria), and community.

"Officially named "Stile di Famiglia" (Family Style), it's a big metal fork pinning a wad of metal spaghetti against the ground,"the Roadside America says.

"In a residential neighborhood known as Little Italy, this larger-than-life fork towers over kids who travel with their own cutlery!

"The Homeowners Association of the Towns of Little Italy commissioned the sculpture "Stile di Famiglia" (Family Style), which is a restaurant term for serving food the way it would be at a big family dinner. It represents the feel for The Towns' neighborhood, which seems very fun, friendly, and close to each other, much like a family. I feel it represents the vibe of both the neighborhood and sculpture wonderfully and gives a nice nod to the Italian heritage in both the language and meaning."

"The stainless steel Fork with Pasta in Omaha is 13 feet tall. It is officially titled "Stile di Famiglia" (Family Style)," the Roadside Architecture says.

"The last one on the list but definitely not the least! The Stile Di Famiglia (meaning Family Style) is a giant 13 feet tall fork with spaghetti located in Omaha, Nebraska.
