"Bizarre blend of swamp and citrus tourism. "Monster Truck Off-Road Eco-Tour" takes visitors on a 45 minute spin through Florida citrus groves and swampland: gators, poisonous snakes, snapping turtles. Also self-guided citrus picking,"the Roadside America reports.
"The monster truck tour was so much fun! I loved seeing the animals, and even got to feed a zebra by throwing pellets over a fence. The whole place is full of food to eat and things to look at.
"Small roadside attraction on Hwy. 27, a few miles from busy 192 and Disney area. Features monster truck swamp safari-type ride, lots of citrus-themed novelties, picnic area, and "U Pick It" self-guided orange grove picking tours, where one can pick several varieties of citrus. "If your not from Florida its a nice very informative tour and gives people a nice representation of what the environment is like in Florida for orange farmers and they raise cattle there. its 2500 acres the farm. they have a great gift shop and bar and a lot of things to see besides just the 4x4 tour. I definitely recommend it. they are the only place I've ever been that lets veteran's or active military ride the 4x4 tour for free that's right absolutely free! they actually do honor their military and veteran's there thank you guys very much we enjoyed ourselves and recommend it to others.
"Great experience something different we really enjoyed our tour and seeing the different animals, our tour guide Orlando was very informative. Nice relaxing atmosphere and much needed cold drinks in the bar afterwards. We went back a few days later with the whole family (9) the grandchildren loved feeding the animals and buying gifts in the shop.
"Such a fun stop!! Friendly staff and amazing, very knowledgeable tour guides. There were lots of different things to do and look at. Overall, such a great place to visit!!"
"This place is awesome! So much to see and do. You can pick oranges. Go to the petting zoo and feed the animals. They have enlarged the animal area giving them more room and have removed some animals. The monster truck was great. Along the way we saw a soft shell turtle, gator, turkey and zebra. We got to feed the zebra. We learned a lot about the citrus farm and their ranch. He tells how they make their fertilizer from animal dun from Disney Animal Kingdom. After the monster truck ride go check out the store and bar. Look at their wine, honey, salsas and other handmade items. The staff is very friendly. Well worth a stop."
