Madeira Beach, Florida, United States--In Madeira Beach, Florida, across John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, a coast-side tourist attraction filled with stores, restaurants, and entertainment complexes, outside the Hooters restaurant, a 1,037 lbs. chicken wing dangled from a fishing hook on a 14-foot-tall crossbeam, sets the world from being the World's Largest Chicken Wing Sculpture, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.
"In Madeira Beach, Florida, you'll come across John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, a coast-side tourist attraction filled with stores, restaurants, and entertainment complexes built along a network of boardwalks and piers. One of these restaurants is Hooters. Directly outside of the restaurant, the World's Largest Chicken Wing hangs from a bait hook," the mashed.com reports.
"Located in Madeira Beach, Florida at John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk, this Hooters location offers spectacular waterfront views. Surrounded by plenty of shopping, entertainment and the beautiful Gulf Beaches, you will never run out of things to do here.
"Fuel up before heading out on a fishing charter or Jet Ski adventure, or watch the dolphins while you wind down with a nice "cocktail on our outdoor deck," the official website says.
"Fresh from the Deep Fryer Sea. A half-ton chicken wing dangledd from a fishing hook on a 14-foot-tall crossbeam, over buckets of mild, medium, and hot sauces," the Roadside America reports.
"It's on the second floor observation deck at Johns Pass Boardwalk, near the Hooters restaurant: 1,037 pounds of chicken wing sculpture. The deck is also a great spot to watch for shore birds and dolphins.
"This tribute to the popular deep fried delicacy weighs in at 1,037 lbs., according to the accompanying sign."
"Wings, burgers, curly fries and beautiful women make up the components of the perfect dining experience," the TV and Burgers reports.
"One of the big draws at this Hooters is not just the food or the lovely ladies, but rather the World's Largest Wing which hangs on a hook right outside restaurant. From what I understand it is not edible and is made of plastic, but it looks delicious nonetheless.
"The gift shop area was much larger than I had ever seen in any Hooters before and I am guessing that is because this one is in such a touristy area. Although it is a little bit of a drive away I will certainly visit here again, but do not worry as I have no plans to abandon my local Hooters."
"Great atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting outside feeling the ocean breeze. very friendly staff, good service! You got to love the giant Chicken wing they have on deck. Would definitely come back there again and again."
